Depending on the wood and complexity of the chair you want built it takes me about two weeks to build a standard chair and as much as three months for the really exotic ones. As each chair is individually hand crafted by me it may take longer depending on the backlog I have when you call. I can make your rocking chair in any number of different woods. Please call or email me to discuss. My prices are as follows:

$5,500 - American hardwoods like Plain Maple, Curly Maple, Ambrosia Maple, Sycamore, Cherry and Eastern Black Walnut. Accent woods are $300 extra.
$6,500 - Standard English Walnut.

$8,000 - $40,000 Highly figured and rare woods like Amboyna, Curly Bastogne Walnut and others as available.

If you would like your chair made from other, more exotic woods like Figured English walnut, Claro Walnut, Birds Eye Maple, or Flame Cherry the price is dependent on availability and wood cost. Rosewood (when available) and various burls can run quite a bit more. I accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express in addition to checks and wire transfers.

Terms: 50% on order, the balance prior to shipment (I will email you digital photos of your chair prior to shipment). Sales tax of 6.5% is added to orders from Florida residents only. Shipping and insurance are added to the final amount and within the continental U.S. range from $400 - $550 depending on how far you live from Florida. If you are within a few hours of me I would be pleased to deliver it myself at no charge. If you are not within the continental U.S. I will get you a firm quote on shipping prior to taking your deposit. I ship anywhere across the country or around the world. For continental U.S. deliveries it generally takes about 5 working days for the majority of my shippers.

Shipping charges vary between carriers and locations. I will work to get you the best price via the safest mode of transportation given your destination. I offer a lifetime warranty on all my chairs and will cheerfully repair or replace any chair with defects in craftsmanship. Shipping is at customer's expense.

Important: If you order a chair from me and there is any visible damage to the crate please make a notation on the delivery receipt, take good photos of the crate before opening and then good photos of the chair if there is any damage. It is also essential to preserve all packaging materials for me to make a successful insurance claim.
